Noctiluca Zara

Zara Ram is a Toronto based artist. She is known for her bold black-and-white work. Her striking monochrome pieces bring clarity and contrast to a noisy world.⁠

A citizen of the world, Zara draws inspiration from global art styles including Islamic art, East African masks, and Art Nouveau. Zara’s work is predominantly pen and ink on paper, though she does also draw digitally.
