While we cycled on dusty roads, the birds in Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in India stayed in the shade on leafy branches, or were too far away to see clearly without binoculars. The waited ever so patiently to catch their prey.
I was there when I was a child, but even the adults around me couldn’t stay as still for nearly as long as those birds did.
